Step through the threshold...

Welcome to the Fáe, a strange little world where the veil between the ordinary and the Otherworld is never quite as solid as it seems.

This collection is inspired by Fáe folklore, Celtic and European traditions, faerie tales, woodland spirits and the endless possibilities of the imagination.

Some of these beings are inspired by traditional folklore.

Some are entirely my own creations.

And some are somewhere wonderfully in between.

At the heart of this collection are the Fáe Doors — miniature thresholds belonging to the beings who live on the other side.

Each door has its own keeper.

Each keeper has a story.

And every one is a little bit different

VARNOK EYEBINDER

Gnome Occultist • Seer of Thresholds

Born beneath the Whispering Yew, Varnok carries the Eye of the Forgotten Moon — a strange relic said to see through lies, illusions and veils.

He is a watcher of doorways, crossroads and other places where one world touches another.

His motto?

“The eye sees. The horn remembers. The veil is never empty.”

GHAM DIVINATOA

Ember Watcher • Hearth Guardian

Gham is a little guardian of firelight, hearths and cosy corners.

He listens to whispered wishes and keeps a watchful eye on anything that might bring trouble across the threshold.

Place him near a candle.

Whisper your wish.

And perhaps leave a little offering.

You never know who might be listening.

THISTLEWHIM THE RUNE-WALKER

Keeper of Forgotten Glyphs

Thistlewhim is a scavenger of misfit magic and collector of forgotten symbols.

Born from a rune beneath an ancient oak, he believes that every lost symbol still has a story to tell.

Part folk mystic.

Part wanderer.

Part troublemaker.

Definitely Fáe.

THE DOOR OF EMBERROOT HOLLOW

Home of Thistle Mournleaf

This doorway belongs to a dusk-born sprite who lives somewhere between memory and forgetting.

Her door is tucked beneath an elder tree, where old names drift like fallen petals and forgotten songs hum through the wood.

Thistle welcomes offerings of acorns, broken jewellery and whispered regrets.

Knock three times.

Speak kindly.

And be careful what you leave behind.

NYLA OF THE QUIET VEIL

Guardian of thresholds

Nyla walks the hush between dusk and dream.

Her blue, crescent marked doorway is a place of moonlight, quiet thoughts and things that are felt rather than spoken.

She is a keeper of secrets and a guide for those wandering through their own shadows towards clarity.

Her magic is gentle.

But don't mistake gentle for weak
